Welcome to the gateway of the Russian River Resort area. This small town has a lot of access to the Russian River as well as hiking trails throughout the area. Forestville is a great jumping off point to Healdsburg, Sebastopol, the Coast, Santa Rosa, and Wine Country.

There are some cute spots to shop like R Honey Pots with pottery and beekeeping. Their site is at www.rhoneypots.com, where all pots are high fired, hand painted non-toxic original pieces. Then off to Kozlowski Farms where some of the best jams and preserves are waiting along with a gift basket or two. They are in a great farm setting and produce wonderful butters, vinegar, jams, jellies and much more. They are open 7 days a week 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and can be found at www.kozlowskifarms.com . On foot, you can begin at Steelhead Beach, where you’ll have Russian River access, or the West County Trail may suit you.
